Tom is born and raised in Chester County and currently works for a family owned company in Exton as a durable medical equipment sales rep. A Flyers and Eagles season ticket holder, Tom is a Philly sports fan through and through. At the age of 7 Tom was introduced to hockey. He picked up a goalie stick and started playing street hockey and fell head over heels for the sport. He played WBYA street hockey for some years and at the age of 11 put on a pair of ice hockey skates. Tom played ice hockey for Bishop Shanahan HS as a forward and following graduation attended Alvernia University and played all four years for the DIII Club as team Captain on the blue line till graduation in 2006. After graduation, Tom was asked to join the Alvernia coaching staff for the following Fall semester as a defensive coach.

He coached three seasons for his alma mater. His 7yr campaign with Alvernia was a great learning experience in playing and coaching the great sport of hockey. Present day, Tom still plays Mens league ice hockey in Exton and dek hockey, playing goalie, at USTC in Downingtown. Tom also enjoys golfing, fantasy football, cars, and going to the shore.
