Brent is a former ice hockey dad who woke up for early morning games for years and years.  It all started when his son, Nathan, was a Mite playing for the St. Basil Bulls in 2006 and came to a close after Nathan played his last season at Malvern Prep in 2018. He is a Lancaster county native but has lived in Chester and Montgomery Counties since the late 80s after returning from Pittsburgh where he attended college.

Brent is a small business owner who consults healthcare and pharmaceutical companies in IT and Regulatory matters. Clients have included Novartis, Merck, Sanofi-Aventis, Glaxo SmithKline, Chiron, Whitehall-Robins, DePuy Synthes, Ortho-McNeil, and DuPont. Brent has a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Brent received a Master Certificate in Business Analysis (with a software emphasis) from Villanova University in 2010.

Brent currently volunteers as the Vice President of the Exton Bulls Ice Hockey Club as well as the Secretary for the Society of Mayflower Descendants in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (SMDPA).   When he has free time, Brent enjoys gardening, photography, watching hockey, grilling, and collecting convertibles.
