Abigail is a Chester County native who has grown up with a love for hockey. The first pair of skates she received were figure skates, which she quickly traded in for a pair of hand-me-down ice hockey skates. She grew up playing pond hockey but was unfortunately not able to play ice hockey until high school, due to financial reasons, which is why the RfH foundation is so important to her. In high school she played for the Conestoga Girl’s Ice Hockey team in Berwyn and it was by playing for this team that she met her husband Tom, also an ice hockey player. Abby attended Saint Joseph’s University and briefly played for the Quaker women’s ice hockey team. She graduated from Saint Joseph’s in 2010 and received her teaching certificate from Immaculata University. She left her teaching position at Saint Joseph School in Downingtown to stay home with her daughter.  In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, home projects, playing dek hockey, tutoring, reading, being active, and hanging with her cat, Jill. d hang with her cats Jack and Jill.
